A new Stream Team Association had our first meeting on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in Joplin MO for current Stream Team Members. Stream Teams from Jasper, Newton, McDonald, and Lawrence counties met with the hope of producing a larger impact on the Missouri Stream Team Program. The meeting was at 6:30PM at the Wildcat Glades Conservation and Audubon Center, 201 W Riviera Drive, Joplin MO. Attendance is for current Stream Team Members or their guests. The topics of the meeting were to develop the association's goals and official name, Southwest Ozarks Stream Teams. For further information click on SWOST . The Wildcats Glades Audubon Stream Team did a good job hosting the first meeting, feeding the attendees, and Linda did an excellent job of keeping the meeting under control!!!
